Welcome to the 2026 Arkansas Graveler: Delta Blues Edition
Hello Graveler,
My name is Bobby Finster, and I have the honor of serving as the Event Director for the Arkansas Graveler.
I grew up in North Central Arkansas, where the Ozark foothills meet the Mississippi River Delta. For much of my life, I viewed the Delta the same way many Arkansans do—from a distance. I saw endless farmland and flat roads, but I didn't yet understand the stories, culture, history, and people that make this region so special.
That changed when I discovered gravel cycling in the Delta. What started as a bike ride became a journey of discovery. Through the roads of Crowley's Ridge, the small towns, the music, the food, and most importantly the people, I gained a new appreciation for a region that had been hiding in plain sight my entire life.
In 2024, I rode my first Arkansas Graveler shortly after making a major life change and leaving a career of nearly twenty years to pursue my passion for creating outdoor experiences. I arrived at the start line looking for adventure and maybe a little direction. What I found was a community unlike anything I had ever experienced. The Arkansas Graveler challenged me, inspired me, and ultimately changed the course of my life.
Today, I have the privilege of helping lead this event, and I can honestly say that this year's route is the one closest to my heart.
The Arkansas Delta is far more than a place on a map. It is the birthplace of legendary music, home to remarkable wildlife and landscapes, and filled with communities that know how to welcome visitors like family. Over the next five days, you'll experience places that many travelers never see, meet people who are proud to call this region home, and create memories that will stay with you long after the ride is over.
My hope is that this journey reshapes the way you think about the Delta, just as it did for me.
Thank you for trusting us with your adventure. Thank you for bringing your energy, curiosity, and spirit to Arkansas. Whether you're here from across the country or right down the road, we're excited to share this incredible region with you.
Welcome to the Arkansas Graveler.
See you at the start line,
