Roll out from the Arkansas State University campus and straight into the beauty of Crowley’s Ridge. Winding roads carry you through gorgeous farms and stretches of amazing gravel before you land in Harrisburg—home of your first aid station on the courthouse lawn, right across from Big O’s BBQ.
Next stop: Birdeye. You’ll pass the peaceful Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery before arriving at the Smith Farm, your second aid station. We strongly encourage everyone to take a moment to walk through the cemetery as you roll by—it’s a truly special place to honor and reflect on the service of our veterans.
After visiting all the critters at the Smith Farm, you’ll hop onto the St. Francis levee system for a short stretch before rolling into Village Creek State Park, which will serve as your overnight host for Day 1.
